Hello sweet, sweet internet,
How have you been? I hope that you are saying something positive in your head or through your screen since I am not there to ask you myself. If it’s not so positive, then I hope that you will begin to have a great day:)
It has been a long minute since I last posted. I left my blog spot in a bad place, and I think I was just having a bad day. Now that I am in a better place (exam revision week, woohoo!) and only 11 days away from the holidays, I have decided to touch base with those of you who are reading my blog.
I have an essay due tomorrow for my Introduction to Politics class, and I am spending today tidying it up. I also have an audio news report due this Wednesday for my News Reporting 1 class, and that is taking solid form, so I am happy. I have an exam for my Introduction to Public Relations class Thursday week, and only after all of that will I be on HOLIDAYS!
These holidays, I plan to read (at least 2 books), buy books, have a barbeque (even though it is Winter yes) and find new and yummy places to eat.
I believe I am able to say this, now that I have technically finished the teaching term. At the start, I was increasingly getting excited about my subjects and university life in general. I guess I was a little too excited, which leads me to the next phase of my university term: the realisation that your university classes aren’t as great as you imagined them to be. Then comes the calm waves after the storm; the dedication that I put into these subjects to make me love them. This was the best part. I would wake in the morning feeling determined, then go to sleep feeling accomplished. Now I want my terms at uni to be better than this one was.
I write because I don’t want to feel like I am the only one experiencing this at-times tumultuous sea of university life. I think that I am not the only one, but sometimes it can feel that way.
Anyway, I enjoyed writing again after a long hiatus. I shall keep in touch with you.
For anyone in university, school or work, please have an amazing week coming:)
